National Chamber Music Day 14th September 2013
14th September 2013 saw Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts participate in its second National Chamber Music Day and just like last year it was a beautiful sunny day. This time though we had a wind trio instead of a string quartet but their playing and repertoire was no less polished and equally entertaining. The passers by were treated to music as diverse as Mozart to Gershwin and they certainly attracted attention with their playful theme tune from Monty Python and who could have failed to recognise Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

Thank you Catherine, Frances and Heather for giving Aberdeen a great day.
Our thanks go to Enterprise Music Scotland for providing such a wonderful ensemble, Dobbies for their hospitality, coffee and lunch, the Edington Ensemble for their fabulous performance and last but not least the lovely passers by, young and not so young alike, who were a most appreciative audience.
” Thank you for such beautiful music - it was just perfect ! ”
” This should happen more often - so enjoyable ! ”
