Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts

Unfortunately with the ongoing COVID19 restrictions and the prospect of social distancing remaining for some time, we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the first half of our 2020-21 season and keep the spring 2021 concerts under review. We will attempt to reschedule these concerts at a later date. All current memberships will automatically be extended to at least the end of 2020 and we will advise revised subscription rates later, when we have a better idea of what we can do in 2021.

The 86th season of ACMC will now start when it is possible and performances by the following artists are scheduled and we hope can take place. We will advise you of any changes as soon as possible. More details can be seen on our Programme and Season Overview pages later in the year:

  • Clova String Quartet, Monday 18 January 2021
    • The Sanctuary, Queens Cross Church 7.30pm
  • Nigel Clayton and Gina McCormack, (piano and violin), Monday 8 February 2021
    • The Sanctuary, Queens Cross Church 7.30pm
  • The Hately Trio, Moira Docherty (soprano), Colin Brockie (baritone) and Tm Tricker (piano), Monday 8th March 2021
    • The Sanctuary, Queens Cross Church 7.30pm

ACMCAll concerts are open to non-subscribers, with ticket costs detailed on the Subscriptions and Tickets page. However, a subscription for all six concerts will save you even more this year compared to single ticket prices! Subscribers become members of ACMC, entitling them to attend and vote at our AGM.

We also invite you to make a donation to our Reserve Fund. As a registered Charity, we are able through the Gift Aid Scheme to reclaim tax on any donations from an individual, however small. The only proviso is that the donor must pay an amount of tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims in the tax year. If you wish your donation to be included in this scheme, please tick the appropriate box overleaf.
